Who Are We

6000 Miles Fashion is the distance between London & Taipei (its actually 6076 miles, but keep our secret) the homes of founder Ross Pollard and his partner, the company was born out of his travels between the two countries and his love of helping emerging fashion designers.

Ross Pollard – CEO

Although a late starter in fashion, beginning as a writer in 2011 before graduating to fashion editor roles at several international fashion journals, he has a professional background in digital platform development, commercial operations and business consultancy having worked for some of the most important names in the automotive, charity and pharma industries.

During conversations with many designers at fashion week and beyond he noticed a growing conversation around the difficulties and challenges of entering new markets that had either stopped or proved very expensive to labels looking to operate outside of their home nations.

Using the skills picked up across a varied professional life he developed the idea for 6000 Miles Fashion as a way to help designers live their dreams and broaden the range of labels being successful. He’s helped people with everything from running out for gaffer tape before a show, via finding fashion week venues to helping some of Asia’s biggest emerging talents partner with the right teams in Europe.

利用在不同職業生涯中積累的技能,Ross提出了6000 Miles Fashion 的想法,以此幫助設計師實現夢想並擴大品牌成功的可能性。他幫助海外設計師在倫敦當地解決各種疑難雜症,包含從演出前的設備問題、尋找時裝週場地,甚至幫助媒合亞洲有才華天賦的新銳設計師與歐洲合適的策展、行銷團隊合作。
